
It might come as no surprise to you if you follow my recipes that I tend to gravitate towards energy balls, bars, or laddus. My kitchen counter is always loaded with healthy snacks to satisfy my sweet tooth while serving as the perfect energy fillers for long runs, hikes, biking, etc.
In addition to being an excellent source of dietary fiber, potassium, iron, calcium, and a host of vitamins, Figs are also rich in antioxidants and complex carbohydrates that promote good health. When they are combined with all the ingredients below, the result is an explosion of nutrients, flavor, and energy.
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and process until you have a thick sticky dough texture. Roll the dough into balls or in the shape of your choice and enjoy!
Feel free to play with the ingredients for your taste. You can also substitute with different nuts and seeds like (walnuts, pistachio, Hazelnuts, Sunflower Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds, etc.) also you can store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks, or the freezer for up to 3 months.

Ingredients :
1 cup – Dried Figs
1 cup – Medjool Dates
1 cup – Almonds
1 cup – pecans
ΒΌ or Β½ – cup Cacao Powder
10 Tbsp – Nutrilite All plant protein powder
2 Tbsp – Chia
2 Tbsp – Hemp
1 Tsp – Vanilla Extract
1/4 tsp – Cinnamon
Pinch of Salt

Trim the stems off of the dried figs and remove seeds from the dates.
Add fig and dates in a medium bowl, cover with hot water, and let sit for 5-10 minutes or microwave for a minute until the soft texture.
In the meantime, pulse the almonds, pecans, chia, hemp in a food processor until they form a coarse meal with little nutty texture.
Then Add Cacao Powder, All plant powder, Vanilla Extract, Cinnamon, and Salt.
Drain the Figs & dates tap them with a tissue, then add to the food processor and pulse it until you get a sticky crumbled dough.
Make a ball of the desired size and roll them in your favorite toppings like cocoa powder, pistachio, hemp, etc if needed to add that extra touch
